News from the IRSA Technical Committee
April 16 The IRSA is the governing body for Radio Sailing around the world, sitting under World Sailing (Formerly the ISAF). The IRSA Technical Committee has been working on updating the Class Rules for the three International Classes (Marblehead, 10R and A Class) that do not have an International Class Association (ICA) as does the IOM Class. Without an ICA, there is no structure to develop or vote on class rules, so the IRSA Technical Committee took on the task, and this work is the result.
They have rewritten the class rules to fit the ISAF/IRSA format, as is seen in the IOM Class rules. The links to the new rules and associated measurement forms and associated documents may be found by clicking on Classes on the left panel, and selecting the M, 10R or A class pages.
