Bob Boutilier – 8 Bells, August 9th, 2025

Bob was the second member of HAMYC, and was instrumental in helping to expand our club.

Like some others, my friendship with Boots goes back 50 years. We have sailed on water, ice, parking lots while challenging and infuriating each other. Boots was a constant in my life, always there, a friend, a confidant, a support. We have spent hundreds of hours travelling to regattas, and then we started the same with the little boats.

Right now, my thoughts are of Annie and his family and his many friends. As he would often remind me, everyone liked Boots.
